Covid-19 Safety Measures

Firstly, and most importantly, we hope you are all keeping safe and well during these unsettling times. We are strongly committed to ensuring that our service to you will continue throughout the Coronavirus restrictions, however, we have made a few changes to ensure that both your health, and the health of our staff is protected. We ask you to assist us in this by following the instructions given by our staff.

If you have been in contact with anyone with coronavirus in the last 14 days or have a fever and/or cough we request that you do not enter the building. Please call us on the usual number to discuss how we can best assist you.

Notable changes are:

1) If you consider yourself or any of your family to be at high risk in the event of contacting Coronavirus disease, or if you’d just prefer to wait in your car, please ring the bell or knock on the window, let us know your car make and colour, and we will come to your when its your turn to be seen.

2) We ask only one person enters the building for each consultation, this may be relaxed in exceptional circumstances, please speak to your attending vet if you wish additional people to enter the building.

3) Please wear a face mask provided for the entirety of your visit, please take your mask home to dispose of. Please also use the provided hand sanitiser on entry and exit from the building.

4) If there is someone being served at the desk when you enter, please take an available seat (which are spaced 2 metres apart) and wait your turn.If there are no seats available, please wait outside until a seat becomes free.

5) Please rub your hands well with the hand sanitiser provided on the reception desk before paying.

6) Whenever possible please stand 2 metres away from the reception desk and stay behind the screens at all times.

7) If you are likely to be self-isolating at any stage, or just consider the risks of visiting our branches to be too high, please contact us to arrange veterinary attention or repeat prescriptions as needed.

Things that are staying the same:

· If you’re a Wern Health Club member we will arrange to post your usual flea/worm medication to your registered address.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your assistance in the present circumstances, we’re very grateful for your kindness and understanding.  We wish you the very best of health going forward, and, as always, if you have any queries or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact your nearest Wern Vets’ branch.

Best wishes from your Wern Vets’ team.
